Set Finished

I finished the bridle and saddle blanket for the western pleasure set. The reins are braided and the headstall fits a variety of models. The saddle blanket is cross stitched to match the woven cinch and breast collar. It has an intricate design with lots of color. I still haven't received any offers on the set so I might sell it outright after the Christmas Day deadline. If it still doesn't sell it will be donated for the Ponies on Parade show in April.

Christmas Presents

Conquering Tide horses arrived today. I opened the box and was surprised to find that each horse had it's own box. Each box says Stone Ponys and each horse comes with cards that have artwork on one side and information of the other side. I took them out of their boxes for inspection and took a few pictures. Back in the box they went until Christmas Day. I'll post pics of them again when I re-open them.

New project

What's this you may ask? Well a sneak peak of something fun!

Nearly complete

The western saddle set is nearly finished, all that needs to be done is the bridle with reins. This set is up for sale and I will be accepting offers until Christmas Day. This set was hand tooled and stamped then dyed black. I then added a leather finish to protect the leather and add a slight shine. Buckles are fully working and everything is adjustable. The front cinch is handwoven in white with lime green accents. The set comes with two breast collar options, one of black stamped leather and the other is handwoven and matches the cinch. The rear cinch is standard leather. A cross stitched saddle blanket will also be included. I will post pictures of the bridle with reins when I've finished. A week later....

It's been over a week since the last time I was able to post....between working lots of hours and trying to sleep I haven't had time. I have had time to work on a saddle though. Everything is coming together really good and when I'm done I'll be accepting offers on it.

Part of me wants to keep this saddle but I have so many that I've made over the years. Time to let someone else have one made by me! I also have a new mare to add to the herd:

Diller was supposed to be a MARE and when I opened the box I found out it was actually a STALLION! I don't know if this was a mistake. The extreme factory customs were all stallions but I am unsure of how many of the regular run turned out to be mares. If anyone on knows please let me know! I will have a nice Thanksgiving break this week and hope to start a saddle for sale. Keep an eye for it!
