UPDATE: Pictures of the freshly finished set and up for offers!!
The pack saddle should be finished tomorrow! I am debating to throw in bags to go with it or leave it up to the new owner. I will be accepting offers for this set until 01/07/13. I don't want to leave it up for a month because the black western pleasure set didn't get any offers. Included is the wooden saddle tree, all the rigging, a halter with lead, and a saddle pad. Here are some up to date pictures of the set.

Pack Saddle for sale
During break I am making a second sawbuck pack saddle set. So far I have most of the tree done and will start working on the rigging in the next few days.
Scent of Pine arrived a few days ago but she needs to go back for repairs for a smudge on her cheek and black over spray in places. She sure is pretty though!
Along with Scent of Pine came lots of snow!! |

Pack Saddle Update
I worked on the set all day yesterday and for most of the day today. I'm sure I will continue until I finish it today : P Here are some progress pictures for enjoyment.
I will be sure to update more the pack set in a few hours...lol

In other exciting news my very first Design-A-Horse arrived today. She is a red dun Breezy Ideal Stock Horse with a tobiano pattern, four high stockings, a star and large snip. Her face is so cute! She is a little bit lighter than I would have liked but she is lovely.

Pack Saddle Set
Since the semester is over my tack books are open. I've started working on a pack saddle set. The first I've ever made! Last night I started with the halter and the tree.
Today I was up early to work on the tree with my fully charged dremel.
Straps were added and the rack was shaded....
The rest is soon to follow with straps and rolls and everything else. I still need to figure out the bags but this set is very fun so far!

After that I moved on to something I've never attempted, a double cinch. This was a pain in the butt for a while but eventually I got it to work.

Set Finished
I finished the bridle and saddle blanket for the western pleasure set. The reins are braided and the headstall fits a variety of models. The saddle blanket is cross stitched to match the woven cinch and breast collar. It has an intricate design with lots of color. I still haven't received any offers on the set so I might sell it outright after the Christmas Day deadline. If it still doesn't sell it will be donated for the Ponies on Parade show in April.

Christmas Presents
Conquering Tide horses arrived today. I opened the box and was surprised to find that each horse had it's own box. Each box says Stone Ponys and each horse comes with cards that have artwork on one side and information of the other side. I took them out of their boxes for inspection and took a few pictures. Back in the box they went until Christmas Day. I'll post pics of them again when I re-open them.
