Moseph Broseph

Last month I took my dogs for their yearly check up and found out the disks in Moe's back are starting to wear away. Other than that he was pretty darn healthy. Well last week he tried to get on the bed and ended up hurting himself. I thought maybe he had sprained it, turns out it's worse. After watching him fall down countless times trying to pee and not being able to go up and down stairs I took him to the emergency vet. They did x-rays and found out that he had damaged his ACL. So tomorrow Moe will have surgery. I ask that all of you keep him in your thoughts tomorrow because it's going to be a long day for us both. I've put some of my horses up for sale on MH$P to save up as much as I can to pay for some of the surgery upfront. If you are interested check out the listings.

Oops...hehehe

So another resin that has made it into my collection did so by chance. At Showplace Spectacular a horse was on the table behind us. I fell head over heels with him......

And well somehow he ended up in my performance entry.....

Turns out he was for sale! I had been looking for a Justin Tyme for a while but all the ones that popped up were more than I was willing to pay even unpainted. I ended up getting such a deal on this guy that I couldn't pass him up and was able to show him right away! Turns out he is a Timepiece and was painted by his sculpting artist, Sommer Prosser. I had been wanting a piece by her for a long time and this guy was just so stunning! He's done well in the two shows I've had him in but I'd like to do more than just hunter over the fences. My fiance (that's another story, lol) and I are planning a cross country jump for him at some point. Needless to say this guy's new name is It's My Lucky Day. Here are some of his two show highlights:

Gosh I still can't believe he is mine all by chance :)

Radio Silence Broken

Okay so I'm going to start off by saying I feel guilty for neglecting my blog. Facebook is just so instant and I can upload with my phone. Second, I've been super busy! Grad school has really taken a lot out of me this past semester so I'm trying to focus more on my studies. Hence the radio silence. I've been to three shows since I last posted......Tri-State Live, Showplace Spectacular, and just recently New Year's Bash Live. I think the biggest highlight of the past three months has been getting my reiner back from Caroline Boydston. He is painted after my friend Kendall's stud, Watch Vanzi Skipabar. I'll just let the pictures of him speak for themselves.

His first nan card for breed came at Tri-State

His western performance winnings from Tri-State where he got reserve in that section

He stole the stock class at Showplace Spectacular

Didn't do too shabby in performance at Showplace either

Three shows in a row he nan's in breed

He ended up with reserve in Western Performance at New Year's Bash Live

This was a picture taken after only two shows with him, he's since added a breed card, and three more performance cards

Needless to say Vic is one of my favorite horses in my entire collection. I've added several more since him but he is still the current favorite. I'm going to have to ease back into blogging by talking about the recent resins to join the herd, stay tuned!
